Crammed into our tiny Chevy Sonic, waiting in line to park amongst thousands of people who traveled to see the night of lights, Katie and David’s wedding day was anything but typical! Arriving at our destination, the walking began to reach the nights of lights for the photos that they dreamed of. Crowded tour trolleys passed by, honking and waving their congratulations to the happy couple. Being the weekend of the St. Augustine Christmas parade, the crowds were unmatched, but the atmosphere was so joyful. Everywhere we went, there were people smiling, laughing, and singing! The photos we took this evening are some of my favorite we have ever taken!

Katie and David’s St. Augustine wedding was one that I know Sam and I will never forget! We have been to St. Augustine several times, but we got to experience so much more than before. We have never seen the nights of lights display, never been to The Lightner Museum, and got to stay in a really cool Airbnb!

From the moment we arrived at the rehearsal, everyone involved in the day was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. With such an easygoing couple, and both of their wonderful families, this day could not have gone an smoother! I’m also beginning to think you two have been bribing mother nature for good weather. Just like your engagement session, we were expecting weather complications, but then they just disappear! What’s your secret?

Katie and David, we are so appreciative to you both for trusting us with such an important day! I have never met a couple who is more go with the flow than you two. When you are together, you can see the love and trust between you; you balance each other out. You two are so right for each other, and I can’t wait to see where life takes you next.
